It is possible for people to lose things and men but the greatest loss as recorded by scripture is the loss of time.
Resurrection is a type of restoration. God is so powerful that he has the power restore time.
The unit of destiny is measured in time. When you lose time, there is no factor that guarantees the restoration of time.
God can restore things, people and time in his dealings.
Our confidence in the kingdom is based on the integrity and ability of his word which are his pillars.
God only became a man but He is not a man. Men don’t lie because they are bad, they lie because they are men.
A few reasons why people experience all kind of losses in their lives
1. Lack of discernment : Hebrews 2:1, Isaiah 1:3, we lose in life because we don’t know how to discern, Ezekiel 12:2. People lose because they do not have the ability to see and hear, Acts 28:27. There is a relationship between discernment and restoration and also a relationship between discernment and losses.
2. Carelessness : Hebrews 2:3, Judges 11:30-35 Carelessness with words and commitment. We lose things in life because we don’t allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. Careless utterance has caused people years, damage control for years. Mattew 14:6-9. There are three faculties by which we interact with this realm : emotions(feelings) reason(principles), discernment (based on the word of God). Both frustration and excitement can lead to emotions.
3. Ignorance of the loss of the kingdom : Psalm 82:5, Proverbs 19:2. The administration of victory is by light Ephesians 4:18
4. Abuse and misuse of time : Mattew 25:14-30. You bury seeds not talents. 2Samuel 2:12-17 there are privileges that priesthood brings.
5. Tests and trials: James 1:2-3.
Four keys responsible for restoration:
1. Self examination 2Cor 13:5, Luke 15:17, sometimes pain is a blessing, Proverbs 18:1 the moment you take the pain of separating yourself, it is wisdom you will encounter.
2. Brokenness – a state of recognizing your ability to help yourself unassisted, psalms 51:17. The character of brokenness is that it admits without shame. Many people fail to experience restoration in their lives because they ain’t genuinely broken.
3. Knowledge – Proverbs 11:9, Isaiah 60:1 . It takes more than knowing what God has said to have it, your acting to keeping is a demonstration of faith. “Faith is doing what it takes as prescribed by scripture to make manifest of what God has said.” When you are a living epistle – your life explains what people do not understand about God. Results are very powerful because they can evangelize. In all thy getting, get understanding. Knowledge tells you what to do, understanding tells you how to do it. Understanding brings stability to your life.
4. Prophetic – Isaiah 42:22 restoration doesn’t just happen, someone must say it. 2Kings 6:1-7. When the prophesy is administered within the jurisdiction of the scripture, it works power and potency. “God doesn’t exist in time, he brings what was suppose to happen in your yesterday to your tomorrow.” God’s realm is NOW. Nehemiah 5:11-12. The power of God is his currency for purchasing reality for believers. This year I will experience performance of prophesy.
